Austere Health Solutions

FAQs

Austere Health Solutions provides annual health assessments for Servicemembers, VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for Veterans filing disability claims, and focused physical exams. We also review military medical records and assess conditions related to  toxic exposures. Every service is approached with a Veteran-informed, compassionate mindset tailored to the realities of military life and service.

Our difference lies in experience. We are founded by a former Army Aeromedical PA/Civil Affairs Officer with 16+ years of service who understands what Servicemembers go through. From military terminology to mission demands, we get it. We bring medical care to remote areas where access is limited, and every patient is treated with respect, understanding, and the distinction they’ve earned through service.

We are based in Yuma, Arizona, and proudly serve the surrounding region, including other remote locations where Veterans and Servicemembers might not otherwise have easy access to these services. As the business grows, Austere Health Solutions will move with the mission to other remote areas to ensure underserved communities continue receiving high-quality medical assessments.

Bring any relevant military or medical documentation, such as service treatment records, previous VA claim paperwork, recent medical records not previously submitted or current prescriptions. We’ll also send guidance ahead of your appointment to help you prepare. Our goal is to make sure your time is respected, and that your health history is understood fully and accurately.

Yes, we are experienced in evaluating Veterans for service-related exposures, including those covered under the PACT Act. Whether it’s burn pits or other environmental hazards encountered during your military service, we understand how these exposures can potentially impact your long-term health and can document findings clearly for your claim. We are committed to supporting you through this important process.

Once it is time for the physical portion of your VA claim or Servicemember health assessment, our office may be contacted as a third-party vendor in your area. If selected, our goal is to make our services accessible, stress-free, and tailored to your schedule- not the other way around.
